Claire is a former drama teacher and emerging writer based in the North East of England. She studied Theatre and Professional Practice at Coventry University and has recently undergone training with Live Theatre Newcastle as part of their emerging writers programme. Previous writing credits include: The Orchestra at Alphabeti Theatre with Coracle Productions as part of the Down to you Project, Fuge  at The Drayton Arms Theatre with  Yellow Coat Theatre Company, Horizion as part of the Keep on Writing initiative. During lockdown her monologue Killing Biff and Chip was selected from over 1000 entries to be part of the women in lockdown series with Popelei Theatre Company. Her most recent piece Marmite and Spirit Animals was the winner of the people’s choice award in the Rapid Reel Monologue competition and went on to win the overall prize.
